Brief Description of Case:
52 year old mother of two suffered fractures to right malleolus and navicular, failure of left total knee replacement, revision of total left knee replacement with future surgery after trip and fall on broken pavement in elementary school parking lot.

Defense Verdict. While District was found to be negligent the defendant’s negligence was not a substantial factor causing the accident. Rather, we were able to conclusively demonstrate that the accident was solely caused by plaintiff’s negligence.
